  1. What are your hours of operation?

    Education Link is open Monday through Friday from 8:00-6pm.Dailiy activities are 9am.-3pm.Morning 8-9 am. is drop off and 3-3:30 pm.is pick up time. We are a year ‘round school offering both part-time and full-time schedules.

  2. How many children do you have?

    We are licensed for 35 children per day. Because we have a part time program as well as a full time program, we have around 45 families every year.

  3. What are the ages of the children served?

    Our license is from 4 month Baby but our infant class accepts from one year. The oldest class is until 6 years old (kindergarten age).

  4. What are your vacation days and holidays?

    We observe all Los Angeles Unified School District designated holidays, and we close about 10 days for Winter Break, one week for Spring Break, and 10 days for Summer Break. There are also special days set aside during the year for teacher-in-service. All these dates, along with planned school events, will be posted on a school year calendar and monthly calendar which will be given to you during enrollment and monthly as well.

  5. What if I want to take summer off, do I still have to pay?

    The monthly tuition is payable whether your child is present in school or not. This includes the summer months if you are planning to continue enrollment in the fall. There will be no refunds nor can the child make up missed time.

  6. Do you offer sibling discounts?

    Yes, we have a sibling $20 discount for monthly tuition only.

  7. Does my child have to be toilet trained?

    No, we are not expecting your child to be toilet trained. But, we expect all students in the 3 year old class who must be fully finished toilet training.

  8. What is the educational background of your teachers?

    Licensing requires that teachers have 12 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE). Accreditation requires that they have 24 units with continuing support in ongoing education. At Edlink, all the staff has a minimum of 24 units in ECE and are actively involved in continuing education via college courses, workshops, and/or ECE conferences.

  9. Are you teachers CPR trained?

    Every year, all staff members are required to successfully complete CPR and every two years they must successfully complete First Aid Training.

  10. How do parents receive information?

    The home/school relationship is valued and ongoing communication is crucial to a smoothly run program. Besides daily connections with the teachers, relationships are supported via e-mail and Member only web site. There is also one formal conference, and one report card that are scheduled during the year.

  12. How about child and adult ratio.

    We are following the California ratio 12/1 for 3-4 years class, 10/1 for 2 year Infant 4/1 . But not only do we follow the following regulation it depend the child and class condition and if they need more adults, we will have more adults. Usually we have one or two floating teachers as well.

  13. Do you need appointment for visiting school?
