General Introduction

Education Link centers its research on the development of intellect in early childhood education. It recognized the educational method of building basic skills at an early stage and simultaneously stimulating the five senses through expression, memorization, and reading. We believe this cultivates children who are able to apply their creativity and imagination to their everyday lives.

Moreover, Education Link believes that, in this age of internationalism where countries and cultures are more closely entwined than ever before, each individual must have an international awareness of her or his surroundings. We strongly emphasize children’s exposure to multicultural education at an early age. By immersing children into a diverse environment, they are given the opportunity to broaden their perspectives and actively form a sense of identity.

In order to share our global scope research and visions and, also, to keep ourselves updated in the related fields, we maintain a close network among local preschools and kindergartens, educators in various countries, Japanese education magazines, and universities.

With the above philosophy in mind, Education Link offers a number of programs to assist in the development of early childhood education.

Children’s Space - Center for the Development of Intellect for Young Children

In partnership with Sigma School, this center was started in April 1998. Here, we assist in the development and growth of the child’s intellect through multicultural fun activities. We maintain a small class size to ensure the assessment of each child’s developmental process through the careful attention of our qualifies staff.

Interim Education Program

This program aims to provide children and parents, who have recently arrived from Japan, a smoother transition to the local preschools, kindergartens, and elementary schools they intend to attend by familiarizing them with the school curricula.

Child - Parent - Local School Communication Care Support

Education Link affirms that a child’s development involves and depends on a solid communication between the child, the parent, and the teacher. Thus, in order for parents (whose primary language and cultural background are Japanese) to establish and maintain coherent communication with the American schools their children attend, we bridge the cultural and language gaps by providing advice and educational information.
