| Establishment of Education Link |
| In
1996, gTo bring up children who adapt themselves to the world and live free
and open with global point of viewh, Education Link was established by Mikie
Stapleton. Education Link has practiced different educational trainings in
the world and reported to Educational Magazines and Newspapers in Japan about
early childhood education and training. In 1997 Pre-school was established in
Japanese School in Los Angeles. And the next year Mikie opened up gWakuwaku
Kodomo Kyoshituh and started teaching Japanese children living in the U.S.A.
She started the first early Childhoodfs Class, which has been a great success
by helping Japanese children with learning English in a short period of time and
helping them to adapt their new lives in the U.S.A. In 2001, English-Japanese
Bilingual Kindergarten was founded. In the environment with full of green where
horses live, Education Link gKodomonoieh gave its birth to make early
childhood education even closer to home.

Aim
|
|
We
teach Japanese culture, Japanese songs, and Japanese tales in Japanese. We teach
American culture, American songs, and American tales in English. We
arrange the daily schedule so that the percentage of English and Japanese will be half and half. We
aim that the students learn both Japanese and English through activities and
daily lives, learning world events and culture to build a global
point of view in their early childhood.

Activities |
|
To
bring up children who live globally |
|
Sense
of Morals |
|
We
train them so that they will be a proper person with global standard
moral
wherever they are, no matter what environment they will be. We
also train them so that they can appreciate music and art and help them
to develop a refined sensibility. |
|
Self-educated |
|
We
donft teach knowledge but help them to be self-motivated for study and
pursuit by making them aware of the surprise and happiness of
self-discovery. We encourage children to enjoy gPlay studiesh. |
|
Healthy
Body |
|
Healthy
bodies produce healthy minds. We schedule outside activities as much as
possible including exploring and activities with nature. |
|
Sense
of Love |
|
By
living with peacocks, rabbits and horses and taking care of animals,
children will grow up with sense of love. We also invite teachers from
Nature Center for exploring activities. |
|
Sociability
and To Corporate |
|
In
the environment where children of different ages are free to learn and
play, they learn to admire the older, to take care of the younger and to
corporate. In the circumstance where everyone is accepted as who he is,
they will learn to accept the others as who they are. We help them to
express themselves in proper way. |
