Daddy’s Day Event 3/13/10
3月 26th, 2010 . by SenseiWhat a wonderful saturday we all had together. We had a great event at school where all the children’s daddies or working moms got to spend a special morning making memories at school with their children and getting to explore the school as well. It was a great way to show our fathers and working moms how much we appreciate them as well.
The activity consisted of painting projects outside: painting donated tires, fences, and birdhouses all different colors, making our yard look like a rainbow. The kids loved doing this with their dads and took alot of pride in their wonderful work.
The inside activity was a fun getting to know you session between all the dads. The children sang their good morning song and sang a special bilingual daddy’s song. They then passed out a special gift to their daddies, giving them either handprints and poem, or a necktie. They also got to play inside with daddy, building trains and blocks together, and exploring the classroom.
It was great getting to talk to everyone and I hope you all had a wonderful time. It was a successful fun filled saturday all together!
