The world seems to be getting smaller and so many �gborders�h are being removed. With improved communication, 24 hour news, faster travel, and more corporations operating globally, many more people are exposed to international cultures and customs. English remains the universal language, uniting people around the world but we also see a widening acceptance of English with various accents.

Despite all this �gglobalization�h, individual cultures are still treasured and recognized to provide a variety of valuable contributions and characteristics. Many people living in other countries still identify themselves primarily with their birth countries and are keen that their children learn about their customs and culture.

While we serve our children at Education Link through the bilingual program, we aim for the children not only to become bilingual but also to learn to accept others as they are, value the differences between people and in doing so to understand themselves better. We believe that bilingual education has intellectual benefits but also leads to social and emotional growth. Every day at our school children learn and experience in an international environment with teachers and care givers.

The mission of our school is to provide a broad education interweaving various cultural aspects with an emphasis on Japanese language and culture. Consequently the children become ready to interact generously with anyone and be citizens of the global world while at the same time having a strong understanding of themselves and a joy of learning.
